Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 1960s, A Complete Unknown traces the meteoric rise of 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan as a folk singer, in concert halls and on the charts; their songs and mystique became a worldwide sensation, culminating in their groundbreaking electric rock and roll show at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.
